Phetchaburi Showcases Local Gastronomic Excellence at the Phuket Municipality Local Food Festival 2026
Phetchaburi Province participated in the Phuket Municipality Local Food Festival 2026, presenting its rich culinary heritage and local food culture as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation among Thailand’s UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy.As part of this collaboration, Phetchaburi brought two renowned local enterprises to exhibit at one of the country’s largest local food festivals, highlighting the province’s distinctive gastronomic identity within the framework of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.
The festival was held from 8–12 May 2026 at King Rama X Commemorative Public Park (Saphan Hin Cape), Phuket, featuring more than 400 food and community business vendors.
As a member of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN) in the field of Gastronomy, Phuket City Municipality invited Phetchaburi Province to participate in the event, which showcased a wide range of Phuket’s local cuisine, beverages, desserts, food trucks, culinary demonstrations, cultural performances, and affordable community products.
